Below is Deward Beeler accepting his award.
Rick Beeler, Deward Beeler, Myself and Ken Thiele. (L-R) 1998 MI State Firemen's Assoc. Conference where Deward was awarded the MI State Firefighter of the Year.
Deward was also awarded the MI State Fire Instructor of the Year for 1999. To top this off, Deward was named the National Runner Up for Fire Instructor of the year for the year 2000. He was presented with this award at the Firehouse Magazine Fire Expo in Baltimore. A few days later Deward retired from our department. If I only knew half of what he has forgotten. |
